FAQ'S

Adoption Process: If you are interested in one of our adoptable animals. The first step is to submit an adoption application. Once we receive that, we will start the process of getting you approved. After you are approved, we will set up a home visit with you. The purpose of this is to make sure the animal will be in a safe home. We will make any recommendations that we think will help to keep your new family member safe...and out of trouble....At any point in the process, after submitting an application, you may request a meet and greet with the furbaby. There is an adoption agreement that is signed by the adopter and us, to protect everyone involved, including the animal. And that's it. You are now ready to take your baby home!

Fostering Process and Responsibilities: If you are interested in helping us by fostering one of our animals while they are waiting for a furever home, the first step is to submit a foster application. This process is the same as the adoption process. The fosters responsibilities are to take in the animal as one of their own while they wait to be adopted. While in foster care we take care of all vetting that needs to be done to keep our little critters happy and healthy. We provide our fosters with everything they need to care for our dogs. This includes collars, leashes, crates, beds, bowls, food, treats, toys and more! We only ask that you give them love and affection. In some instances we will ask you to help us with them. Some examples are; Puppies may need to be housetrained; Some pups come from a bad past, so may be fearful and need to be shown it's ok; Some may have been starved and need to understand that we are not going to take away their food. All of these things can be discussed during the application process. If you have questions please feel free to email us for more information.

What's included in our adoption?

Every one of our pups gets their first round of shots upon intake. This shot is a combination shot that includes distemper, parvo and kennel cough vaccines among others. Depending on their age they will continue to receive a shot every 3-4 weeks until they have 3 shots or reach 16 weeks of age, whichever the latter. If the dog is over 6 months of age they have their rabies vaccination with tag and certificate. They will also be spayed/neutered prior to adoption if they are older than 6 months. All of our dogs come microchipped by nanochips. Anytime after adoption we are available to help you with any issues or concerns that you may have regarding your new family member for their entire life.

Not local? Not a problem. All of our pups can be transported at no cost to you, anywhere on the east coast, and to some states further west.We have volunteers all over that will help in making the process as smooth as if you lived next door.  Long distance travel is not very healthy, so if you are too far, then alternative transport can be discussed.
